Financial planning is the long-term process of wisely managing your finances so you can achieve your goals and dreams, while at the same time negotiating the financial barriers that inevitably arise in every stage of life. Remember, financial planning is a process, not a product.

Our Process
In 2000, President Jennefer Walsh, CFP® looked for advice in making decisions regarding 401k contributions and investments, a house purchase, and inherited monies. She sought professional financial planning guidance from various consultants in the financial services industry.
To her surprise, each consultant focused their attention solely on her investible assets, with little time spent on who she was, what her life plan was, or other ways in which she could improve her overall financial picture. While they did quickly construct investment portfolios and deliver investment recommendations, the end products were dispassionate and clinical.
Unsatisfied, Jennefer decided to increase her level of financial education and assume ownership of all areas of her financial life.
During this process, she recognized a need within the financial community. Is there a way to provide financial planning guidance to individuals without a sales pitch at the end of the process?
Indeed, there is.
In our experience of working with hundreds of individuals and families over the years, we developed a comprehensive process for empowering individuals to live a life full of meaningful experiences.
Our planning process takes into account both your human elements and available technical elements. Without consideration of your unique person, our plan is doomed to fail. Likewise, if we do not pay careful attention to the technical aspects within our plan, we cannot target success.
We established the following 5 Step Financial Planning Process to guide you through your financial plan.
The Walsh Financial Solutions 5 Step Financial Planning Process

Step 2: Strategy
Step 3: Education
